For domestic flights, Mr Men kits are available and include pencils, paper, activity cards, find-a-word games and 3D puzzles. On international flights The Australia Zoo and Surf’s Up kids kits are available, which include pencils and pencil case, a backpack, puzzles, activity books, playing cards and colouring-in books. For the kids, Qantas also provides specially made meals, soft drinks, fruit juices, baby food and special seating arrangements to make the trip all the more comfortable. Virginblue also provides children’s activity packs, as well as snack boxes full of goodies for the kids, and a large variety of food and drinks. Television screens are also fitted in the seats providing a variety of cartoons and movies for children of all ages. Jetstar too provide a range of in-house entertainment for the kids such as movies, cartoons, TV shows and music videos through their Video on Demand units.
